Why join

Build your place in a physics community.

NPSN membership is an opportunity to take part in physics research projects, competitions, workshops, seminars, events, and outreach. You do not need to already be an expert. The network is designed for students and early-career researchers who want to learn, contribute, and grow.

Important distinction

NPSN membership is separate from central NSSR General Membership. Central NSSR registration is required for leadership positions within the network. Network members can still participate in NPSN activities and vote in network decisions according to the operational policy.

Central NSSR membership

Apply to become part of NSSR

Central NSSR membership gives you access to the wider society beyond NPSN. It is especially important if you want to pursue formal leadership within the network or take part in central NSSR governance.

Volunteer application

Join NSSR projects, campaigns, workshops, and departmental activities. Build practical experience in research, events, outreach, and teamwork.

Apply as a volunteer

College Representative application
